Party awaits greenlight
Reliable sources told that a new political party from Sarawak submitted its application to the Registrar of Societies (ROS) at its headquarters in Putrajaya yesterday.
However, one of them said no details were yet known about the new political entity.
Another source said that the formation of the new party called Sarawak Workers’ Party (SWP) had been planned all this while to accommodate politicians such as Youth Advisor in the Chief Minister’s Department Larry Sng who has been without a party since he was sacked from PRS three years ago.
Following his sacking from PRS in a bitter leadership tussle in 2007, Sng was not re-nominated to defend his Pelagus state seat in the last state election.
Speculations are also rife that the new party might be linked to ‘SPDP Five’, a group of dissenting SPDP elected representatives facing disciplinary action for their absence from the party’s supreme council meeting in the last two years.
Members of the group are the party’s senior vice-president and Tasik Biru assemblyman Datuk Peter Nansian, vice-president and Marudi assemblyman Sylvester Entrie, vice-president and Mas Gading MP Datuk Dr Tiki Lafe and two supreme council members — Bekenu assemblywoman Rosey Yunus and Batu Danau assemblyman Paulus Palu Gumbang.
In a worst case scenario, they may be expelled from the party.
The source added that the new party would have 33 supreme council members made up of 22 Dayaks and 11 Chinese.
He said among the 11 Chinese members, three were from Miri, two from Sibu and the rest from Kuching.
The party is rumoured to have a strong backing from the state Barisan Nasional (BN) and is believed to be spearheaded by a well-known politician with a ‘Datuk’ title.
Meanwhile, Larry’s father Datuk Sng Chee Hua, who has been linked to the new party, denied his involvement in the establishment of the new political party.

Lagi pemimpin BN keluar parti

N 25 Balai Ringin Snowdon Lawan (Penyandang)
N 26 Bukit Begunan = Mong Ak.Dagang (Penyandang)
N29 Batang Ai = Malcolm Mussen (Penyandang)
N43 Ngemah = Alexander Vincent (Kalah dan dilantik semula)
N52 Tamin = Edwin Banta (Muka baru)
N53 Kakus = John Ak.Sikie (Penyandang)
N54 Pelagus = Wilson Nyabong (Muka Baru)
N56 Baleh = James Jemut Masing (Penyandang)

MENJELANG PILIHANRAYA SARAWAK : SEKUTU BN KONSISTEN REBUT KERUSI

ll this while SUPP has been kept quiet over swap of seat between the party and PRS to accomodate Larry Sng, the partyless Assistant Minister with three potfolios.
But yesterday,Sunday 15th Nov 2009, Sih Hua Tong , the SUPP youth Chairman had lashed out at PRS not to interfere in SUPP internal affair. Sih was responded to PRS Pelagus grassroot leaders through former Pelagus Assemblyman Philimon Nuing who suggested that Sng shoudl contest Meradong. Under BN sarawak seat allocation, Meradong was allocated to SUPP but it lost Meradong to DAP in the 2006th State election.
PRS is a very much a Multi-Racial Party...James Jemut Masing During PBDS Leadership Crisis 2004
PRS is a multi-racial party as claimed by it unpopular President Dr James Jemut Masing. Jemut was saying this during PBDS leadership crisis in 2004 which caused the deregisteration of the only pure Dayak party in the world, the PBDS.
The same people that about six years ago claimed that PRS was the multi-racial party, now saying that Pelagus is best representing by the Iban...
The Iban Traitor that now trying to tell the dayak that they are best representing us..I only have this to PRS...FART YOU!

DUA LAGI SEKUTU BN MENGHADAPI KRISIS

SELEPAS KRISIS SEKUTU BN (DALAM BAHASA BN DISEBUT KOMPONEN, HM YO LAH TU) TERMASUK MIC, MCA DAN PPP, KINI DUA LAGI SEKUTU REJIM BN MENGHADAPI KRISIS YANG MASING2 MERUPAKAN ADUN DI SARAWAK.

SEORANG PULA DISAMAN OLEH AHLINYA SENDIRI YANG MENYAKSIKAN KAWASAN ADUN DI SITU KIAN CERAH BERADA DALAM GENGGAMAN PAKATAN RAKYAT.
PASTINYA SITUASI INI AMAT MENARIK KERANA PRU SARAWAK BAKAL DIADAKAN BILA BILA MASA.

NAJIB MONGOLIA ITU JUGA MAHU PRU SARAWAK DIADAKAN DAHULU SEBAGAI MENGUJI KEKUTAN REJIM BN MENGHADAPI PAKATAN.

SEBAB TAIB MAHMUD TAHU, DENGAN KEADAAN ITU, JENTERA PAKATAN AKAN BERPECAH DAN BUKTINYA, DUN BATANG AIR BERJAYA DIPERTAHANKAN BN.

Kemelut SUPP: Usah bimbang, parti komponen BN diberitahu

“Maknanya Larry bukan lagi anggota PRS,” ujarnya lagi.

“Black Eyed James PRS/SPDP Merger Diversion…”
Are you ready for this..? It seems embattled PRS President James Masing has somewhat found a way to divert his already fluid relationship with the CM Taib by tabling a motion at last weeks Supreme Council meeting for a Merger. It was agreed but with a condition that SPDP first table a resolution for a CALL OF A MERGER. PRS will then only hold its TDC in which they will follow suit. All this will be done in the early part of next year 2010.
The blue print and the much needed nod of approval from one set of Supreme Council seems to have unlocked the key for a Merger of both parties. Though negotiations are ongoing it seems that mosts details have been ironed out and at bests all political appoitments will be ’status quo“.
James once a Blue Eyed Boy of CM Taib has somewhat now found himself at the wrong end of the CM’s stick and he has suffered more Black Eyes than what his supporters are used to. He was once revered as an upcoming Dayak leader and his advises and assistance were generally sought for.
The GOLD LADEN CARRIAGE RIDE has somewhat stopped. Over the past year he has been seen to be making too many mistakes where it was almost impossible for CM to cover his endless journey of political mishaps. His supporters thought getting rid of “Larry Sng” was the answer to all their problems but it was all James wrong undoing/manouvering which has caught up with him in a quagmire.
As a politician James somewhat forgot a very SIMPLE POLITICAL RULE. It’s to cover his tracks properly eventhough as a trained Antropologists he thought that he could deceive or outwit those who he has somewhat forgotten says a political watcher. There were many instances which he thought he could plaster over with “A genuine statement in supporting BN” but CM has already done his homework and kept the minute details in his locker room far from his very OWN eagled eyed and eves dropping machais.
Now the only setback for the merger it seems is the question of WHO LEADS THIS MERGED ENTITY..? Do I need to spell it out here. What was the Final straw that broke the camels back. ? A veteran politician said,” Let’s see whether Taib follows James call and has a reshuffle within these month. If not,James can just get ready to be dropped or just SHIP HIMSELF OUT..Very blunt as in Politics there are NO POLITICAL PRISONERS.”
James Masing’s impending tussle with Entulu might not happen as the bigger picture it seems is now the Merger entity. Entulu must thank his “Lucky Stars’ that the Hidden Hands/Puppet Masters have worked a better deal for him to carry on his political journey. SPDP President Mawan would be watching this political scenario with Interests as he gets on with his usual Adminstrative work for the State Government. His advisors would have advised him to play to the tune of CM Taib and do not even try to push any buttons which might trigger a FALSE ALARM.
Obviously, the answer is that BN4 would soon be BN3 to face the “UNITED” opposition in the next state elections.
We say as always,”There is tension on the ground especially with the impending SPDP/PRS merger talks eventhough many are denying it. We shall just leave it to the HIDDEN HANDS to work their Magic..

PRS CRISIS: “Unleash the Potential of Youth” IMO-”Senior Sng must have had Tantrums”
“Happier times-”The last 25 minutes Supreme Council meeting before the Pre-Emptive Move”
I.M.O.- In my opinion and nobody’s I would imagine this scenario.Dato Sng Chee Hua must have thrown out a tantrum and at worse cursed so many times that its bests to avoid him. A person who is kind at heart at the bests of times.
However Senior Sng has a way in pushing his ideas and thoughts across and one would not be able to know what hit him. This Borneo Posts article,”Time to fill vacant assistant minister posts:Masing” would not exactly make his food go down well in his early breakfast. Wouldn’t you be ANGRY as a Parent like Senior Sng when you see this column…
According to Masing,PRS now has two vacant assistant ministers posts-one,made vacant following the demise of former Assistant Minister of Agriculture and Sport and two, because Assistant Minister In Chief Minister’s Department Larry Sng being ‘partyless’
Whats more James is using the cover of the CM to push his political statement through with saying this,” he agreed with Chief Minister’s recent statement that the next cabinet reshuffle would be to prepare BN to face the next election. He said this to reporters that it was crucial for BN to gain the support of the people and to use the resources available by filling the vacant assistant minister’s posts.
Many PRS members and sympathisers have their own version of James Masings statements and we compile what has been said in the market talk in Sarawak eventhough today sees the DUN Manek Urai by elections in Kelantan.
- Could they be more than what meets the eyes..?
- Could this be a body blow to the Hidden Hands ?
- Could this be done to nullify the damage that the Puppet Masters are doing to create a wedge between President Masing and his deputy Entulu?
- Could this be also telling the CM Taib that in PRS Masing is very much in charge?
- Could the political strategists in PRS be telling the lobbyists that Masing has the final say eventhough the CM has the prerogative?
- Could Masing be pushing the envelope to CM Taib a bit too far?
- Could Masing be justs telling CM Taib that he is the President of PRS and he is only informing the CM of his members intentions and views.
- Could this statement be more harmful to the already deteriorating relationship of CM and Masing?
- Could Senior Sng just let it go?
- Could Masing be facing a tidal wave very soon?
Many senior PRS members were tight lipped as they were reminded that there is a“gag’ order in place and that disciplinary actions will be taken by the party. Of course some former PBDS members were just clapping their hands as it seems that James suddenly has got the LION HEART and telling the BOSS indirectly through the mass media. Doesn’t this even lenghten the already strained realtionship?
Some political observers are likening this situation very much like what PBS did to Tun Mahathir in the eleventh hour. There is just that possibility as many have not forgotten how Taib and Tun embrace each other which many political figures were angered by this Sandiwara. It will not be a surprise if it REALLY HAPPENS.
That is also one of the many reasons that CM sees the need for a merger of SPDP/PRS and it will be better controlled. The window doesn’t just close there. There is a lot of dissatisfaction amongst PRS members in being overlooked in certain GLC positions and other business opportunities. CM and his advisors are closely monitoring the situation and does not need PRS to create more problems as the State prepares to face DAP/PAS/PKR/SNAP opposition parties.
Of course James needs to weigh his options well as he is not getting any younger and at 60 it might just be the perfect time in politics to go for BROKE. In 1983 when he first joined Politics he was a fresh face and now 26 years later being overlooked and considered a dayak leader he has every chance to move ahead. He also knows that getting Senior Sng hot at the collar will in fact push his political ambitions a step further. In other words its just bluntly put,”Don’t think I am afraid of the CM Taib..?” A lot of dayak people wished he has the guts to say that and JUST maybe be on his side. You know what they say when the leader is beaten all the soldiers will run helter- skelter.
We say as always,”There will be a lot of soul searching for PAS in Manek Urai after securing a tissue thin majority of 65 and BN will be questioning what could have been too? James has open up the PANDORA Box and he would have ANTICIPATED that Senior Sng will not let him go of the HOOK so easily.

KRISIS PRS
Eversince the so-called “rumours” which has set Joseph Entulu and James Masing on a “collision” course Party Rakyat Sarawak members and higher ranking officials are asking this very familiar question,”Is it Real..?” The next bests answer is from an SC member who is aligned to James and he said,”Who is Entulu to fight James..??”
There are also word on the ground that audie61 was the first to break the news. For the information of the reading public and supporters of PRS/BN we only caught wind of this and before it broke the CAMELS BACK we decided to blog the story to avoid an UGLY SHOWDOWN in PRS which are beneficial to some who practises the ART OF CONFRONTATIONS to make a living.
It was already spreading like wildfire in Kapit and in Selanggau and an aide of Joseph Entulu (Deputy Minister of Rural Development ) even said that James the President is so “ungrateful ” to Entulu for all that he has done for him. Quoting him in Iban,”UDAH NGENA TANGGA,KA DI TUNU”. (similar to after crossing the bridge burn it)
We would also like to inform those who put the blame on audie61 to just watch their tongues as we have prove already and it’s taped by handphone. You know who you are and we will take the necessary steps to CLEAR OUR GOOD NAME.( there are many ways to skin a cat black/white)
The articles which we wrote are edited and before its posted we check and double check our sources. We do not intend to be associated with rumour mongering nor to defame someones characters. Our article “5 solid reasons for JE’s fight..?? It is supposed to be written in FULL and not a PUZZLE to some. We wanted the two leaders to know that this is happening on the ground and they need to take the necesary actions and steps. If we do not care TWO HOOTS Of PRS we will just BLOW IT OUT OF PROPORTION.
This also goes to other political parties and those connected with politics. we have siad we are for the people, with the people and by the people. We keep those who are out of line in check be it also Pakatan/BN members.
We say as always,”Don’t hide behind the iron curtains hahaha and criticize others. If gossiping is your art there is a DEGREE IN HARVARD ..or OXFORD….

KRISIS PRS: Blessings,”Want Me,Why Not..??”
If there is a genuine push by the grassroots I will not decline to go for the posts as No.1 in Parti Rakyat Sarawak(PRS). Could Joseph Entulu be tempted to spill the beans ” if he “ is cornered and interviewed by journalists and reporters of the main stream media? No one should be surprised though as Entulu is very much a media friendly Deputy minister and he does give statements which in itself is ” NEWS “
His dayak statement was very controversial and he had to take out a full page supplement to cover what was overplayed by the media seeking fraternity. According to an aide JE was very upset as this was n0t what was intended and he is now very mindful of the press and would not like to be misquoted.
Will he be trapped into making another ‘MISQUOTED STATEMENT” as the rumours are already swirling of him pushing James Masing PRS President all the way for the No.1 CHAIR. It is interesting to note also a BN component party MIC in their September congress will make amendments to their constitution limiting the terms of the President to 3 terms and other positions to 2 terms. Will James turn round to use this in their upcoming TDC to beg for another term before he hands over the baton.? James Masing is already 60 years old and he will try to buy some more time to cement his footing as the undisputed No.1 in PRS.
The ball is already on Entulu’s foot and its up to him how and what he wants to do with it..? A proverb commonly used in politics goes like this,” He who waits on others misses his opportunities.” Its a game where only the strong survives and with the financial backing accorded and blessings in place Entulu will be looking at a “WASTED GOLDEN CHANCE”
A political analysts said,”Sarawak’s political climate is somewhat calmer now and we cannot SEE WHO THE CROCODILES ARE AND WHAT THEY ARE UP TO. SOMEONE IS DEFINITEDLY STIRRING THE SAND IN PRS” The Tree shaking theory is irrelevant in PRS unlike PBB where once the tree shaking is implemented calm and order will be restored.
In PRS it goes further than that as this particular TREE needs to be uprooted. ( Remember Tun Rahman and Leo Moggie’s divide and rule where it saw birth of PBDS and decimated the once powerful SNAP under James Wong) . Could Entulu be just the perfect politician at this time for the bigger agenda of the POWERFUL CASH RICH HIDDEN HANDS/PUPPET MASTERS.
It is an open secret now that the BLESSINGS are in place no matter how James wants to avoid it. James should know how the CM was on his side when he losts to Tajem/Sng. History does repeat itself does he need to be reminded.?”
We say as always,”It’s all about timing in Politics and Entulu will need to make up his own decision. We will not be able to push him over the cliff could we..??

KRISIS PRS: SNOWDAN LARANG TENTANG KETUA

krisis PRS: Masing left with eight months
A journalist friend called me up yesterday, seeking help to find out more about the problem within Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS).
He was confused because there is nothing much he knew about Dayak latest political scenario, particularly PRS.
He was baffled when reading Sarawak Update that all is not well in PRS now because everything seems okay on the surface.
There was not a single news about PRS crisis in the mainstream, including the Borneo Post that famously bragged “Without Fear or Favour”…. (Datuk Dr Soon Choon Teck will think otherwise, wa ka ka ka ka.)
PRS members and PRS former members have been calling me to tell their version of stories about the party problem. Of course none of them dare to be quoted.
The only guy who spoke in the open with me and willing to be quoted is PRS youth leader Audie Chua….
Audie is blogging extensively about PRS problem but in a rather tactful way. Audie stressed that he is a PRS life member and is loyal to the party struggle.
He is optimist that Masing and Entulu will be able to solve the internal problem. That however, was Audie personal opinion. Many PRS leaders are now thinking otherwise. They find it very difficult to tolerate Masing brand of leadership.
I have been trying very hard to get PRS leaders speaking to my reporters, but none dare. Majority are observing some kind of “gag order”.
It is learned that many things had happened in the past, especially Masing unwitty remarks against his YB that is deemed not a true blue PRS.
Masing is blessed with problem that he inherited from PBDS crisis. Two of his MP’s reluctantly joined PRS prior to PRU12 - Datuk Joseph Salang and Aaron Ago Dagang - formerly from Tan Sri Leo Moggie and Datuk Seri Daniel Tajem faction.
It is learned that Masing proposed Salang name to become full Minister under the new cabinet, probably trying to unite the former PBDS and PRS members, and entice those joining Pakatan to come back.
Unfortunately, the action does not go down very well among Entulu supporters. They said Entulu deserved to be recommended as full Minister by virtue of his position as PRS deputy president.
Furthermore, some PRS members are still suspicious of Salang, whom they said was never a PRS member.
Entulu supporters are of the view that Masing never recognised his Deputy President contribution, show him due respect and share the fruit of their struggle together.
Apart from Salang and Aaron, Masing was also blessed with two “PBB”-linked YB’s in PRS vice president and Balai Ringin ADUN, Snowdan Lawan and Sri Aman MP, Masir Kujat whom he always criticise.
Masing action provoked the two YB’s supporters and they are now openly throwing their weight behind Entulu, although Snowdan and Masir, never approved or prevent their supporters from commenting on the issues.
Given if Snowdan and Masir is endorsing Entulu to challenge Masing, the PRS president will be having tough time. Snowdan is the son of Donald Lawan, one of Sarawak most successful bumiputera businessman.
Now that Masing no longer enjoying Dato Sng Chee Hua comradeship, it was not immediately known where is Joe Salang stand.
Salang and Masing relationship are far from cordial in the past, that sparked a war in PBDS and eventually led to its deregistration.
Audie told me that Masing only advisor now is a young Malay lawyer, who is a non executive independent director of Sarawak government linked companies that is associated to Ministry of Land Development.
Audie blogged about this in his own weblog and is predicting that the contest will take place in December.
Out of the blue, suddenly a little bird who whistled on the condition of anonymity break the news that PRS TDC would be postponed until March or April, thus giving Joe Entulu more time to play his card…..
Good luck Masing, after going through so many crisis, I am sure you will be able to fight the hidden hand but can you cure the animosity?

Krisis PRS
A seasoned politician used the termed,”Pokok-pokok sedang di goyang lagi di PRS” Its nothing dissimilar to tactics practised in PBB where the threats of Abu Bakar, Adenan Satem and Abang Johari are kept in checked and distilled clear by those aligned to CM Pehin Taib.
PRS needs to be checked further before its full blown like H1N1. Certain terms I used he said means that its for REAL . The Hidden Hands are really working overtime as informed sources close to audie61 mentioned. You honestly think they will just lie low when the “Blessings are already Given”. Najib is watching very closely on this latest development. Najib knows that this PRS illness dates back to PBDS days.
Its now that James needs to turn to his only one trusted young Malay Lawyer. No point in hiding him in the closet anymore. He is well informed of the groundswell and President James needs to listen and MANOEUVRE his closest aides now. Will James be safe by him or be abandon by him? There are no Permanent enemies in Politics and there is word that the only spin doctor in James camp is now already playing DOUBLES.
PKR Sarawak are watching this development with interests. A further split in the ranks in PRS is like ‘Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony” says the divisional member of PKR. We don’t think James is as brave as our Pakatan leaders in Anwar,Hadi and Kit Siang in facing the press headon and it is like a strong left and right uppercut on the face of UMNO/BN. Over to PRS and the leaders who needs to correct the under currents sweeping through the party now.
Audie is blogging here
PRS Postponed TDC to MARCH / APRIL 2010By Abdul Hakim Bujang
A small bird called Sarawak Update saying that Joe Entulu has called James Masing, citing the noise are not more than Pakatan orchestrated “Pantomime”.
Ironically, the small bird was defensive when asked why TDC had to be postponed to March/April.
The small bird refused to acknowledged that Joe Entulu is actually buying time, stressing that Masing and PRS are tackling the situation.
“They are investigating who is the hidden hand out to destabilise PRS,” the bird whistle…
The bird said the problem was blown out of proportion by the Pakatan….

KRISI KOMPONEN BN SARAWAK
I am keeping my eye closed, and start wondering what will happen next. I am not commenting but my hand is simply typing. I am sure PRS leaders would be very quick to deny, like what Dr Mahathir do before Anwar sacking….
Number two seldom win in a battle against number one. History. UMNO, PBB, MIC etc…
I am sure you know who are the people in question here, Datuk Joe Salang and Datuk Joe Entulu. Both are highly qualified, experienced and Deputy Minister at Federal level.
Masing was said to have offended one of the Joe, over the other, causing grave animosity.
I will not divulge further detail because both the Joe are my respected politician, while Masing had never failed to answer my call or reply to my SMS whenever the urgency arise. Thus giving access to vital info at “real time”.
To maintain the good rapport, I hope wisdom would prevail. Being a typical Melanau, I hope people would not blame my people again over Dayak infighting when it never involved us…. Audie Chua blogged about it here.
