KUCHING: The state Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) has set up eight branches in the Stampin parliamentary constituency.
The branches are located at Rock Road, Batu Kawa, Landeh, Batu Kitang, Tabuan Jaya, RPR Batu Kawa, Stutong and Stapok.
“Our purpose of setting up the eight branches is to serve people and not really for the general election,” said state PKR vice-chairman See Chee How at a press conference yesterday.
See stated that PKR had appointed 11 personal assistants to help solve the problems of the community.
Meanwhile, See pointed out that his party would be having another round of negotiation with Democratic Action Party (DAP) on the overlapping seats with DAP. The overlapping seats numbered to less than 10.
“Everybody is on the ground and they have their own candidates,” he said.
See said that the seats that are not claimed by either of the parties in the Pakatan Rakyat would be negotiated.
“The problem will be solved before the election,” he assured.
