Its Secretary-General, Datuk Abdullah Hussin, said the organisation not only focuses on adults but also the younger generation through the central Usia Youth Body.
"This approach is among our strategies to enhance the understanding of youths on the teachings of Islam, apart from strengthening their self-identity.
"This is to produce successful and productive Muslim youths in terms of mindset, morality and spiritually," he said when opening the Usia Kinabatangan division annual general meeting in Kinabatangan, near here, Monday.
Also present were Usia Kinabatangan division head Haji Hamidin Radin, his deputy Datuk Pg Abd Rahman Pg Galpam and Usia Kinabatangan division Wanita head, Datuk Nafsiah Pg Galpam.
Abdullah said all Muslims would be given equal opportunities to acquire knowledge through the missionary programmes and education organised by Usia.
"We are implementing various programmes for the younger generation and will not sideline the interest of youths.
"What is really important is for the young generation to show interest and support for each of the programmes that we organised," he said.
Among the programmes, Abdullah added, were visiting mosques, youth forums and recreational activities.
In another development, he said the annual general meetings of all divisions were conducted smoothly so far.
Out of the 25 divisions, Abdullah said 14 had held their meetings and the rest are expected to have theirs before end of October, adding the central level AGM would be held on Nov 13 to 15.
